Rachel Vagts

As the College Archivist for Luther, Rachel Vagts preserves and maintains the college’s historical records. She brings in new material and makes it available to those who may need it. She often works with the Alumni office and other areas of the administration, helping them find facts or resources from the college’s past. While some of her job requires working with older material, she also archives items as they are created, like presidential memos or new college publications. She enjoys the detective-like research involved in finding archived information or records.
