The Luther College Archives collects, organizes, preserves, promotes, and makes available records of enduring historical, legal, administrative and fiscal value.

The archives are used by college administrators, faculty, staff, students, alumni, and others.

The collection consists of a variety of formats including

  • handwritten manuscripts
  • office records
  • meeting minutes, photographs
  • audio visual material
  • video tapes
  • photographs.

The collections have been organized into 18 record groups to aid in access for staff and researchers.

The archives are interested in collection material relating to the history of the college. If you have items of historical interest to the college, please contact the archivist.

The archives also receives limited support from a recently established endowment. Donations of any size are always welcome.
