Books for Africa

At the tail end of the library's annual book sale, we typically mail selected textbooks to Bookfriends International in Chicago for eventual shipment to Tanzania. Today we mailed two boxes of English language textbooks targeted for grades 5 through 8. At the present time, Bookfriends International is ready to ship another container destined for 10 more schools in Tanzania and is beginning another container. Donations from the Luther College Library began in 2005.
