Staff Computer Rollout Begins

Now that the faculty computer rollout is complete, we are beginning the staff computer rollout for ’08-‘09.

Yesterday we met with College Ministries and have scheduled their upgrades to begin Monday, September 22nd.

We are scheduled for conversation with Administrative Services on October 2nd.

Computers will be upgraded approximately one per day to Windows Vista for those receiving new hardware and Windows XP otherwise. Microsoft Office 2007 will be installed on all new/upgraded computers. No Norse Key password change occurs during this workflow. Training will be provided for departments on Office 2007 and Vista.
