Administrative Services Computer Rollout

October 2nd we met with the Administrative Services staff and have scheduled their upgrades to begin Wednesday, October 15th.

We are meeting with Student Life and SAC October 9th. Their upgrades will begin following that conversation.

The document http://helpdesk.luther/edu/go/office shows the conversations scheduled for the fall and those that are pending.

Computers will be upgraded approximately one per day to Windows Vista for those receiving new hardware and Windows XP otherwise. Microsoft Office 2007 will be installed on all new/upgraded computers. No Norse Key password change occurs during this workflow. Training will be provided for departments on Office 2007 and Vista. The training for Administrative Services is set for Tuesday, November 4th.
