Enrollment Verification request changed on my.luther.edu web site
The “Enrollment Verification” link on the my.luther.edu web site has changed. The Enrollment Verification link lets the user connect to the National Student Clearinghouse to receive an enrollment certificate to print and mail to a health insurer or other company that requests proof of a student’s enrollment at Luther.
The National Student Clearinghouse recently changed their policy about connecting to their web site. They requested that institutions do server-side authentication from their own web site rather than authenticating the user information once the user arrives at their web site.
When a student logs into the my.luther.edu web site and clicks on the Enrollment Verification link on the Students Menu, his/her information will be authenticated on our web site and he/she will then be redirected to the National Student Clearinghouse web site to obtain enrollment verification.
Students who use this feature are reminded to log out of the National Student Clearinghouse site and to return to the my.luther.edu web site to log out of that site. It is also recommended that users close their browser window to assure that all session information is cleared from the web browser.
