  • Classroom Technology Guides – Rebecca gave a show and tell of work done this spring to create cheatsheets illustrating how to use the technology in those spaces. The guides will be placed in the classrooms and will also be made available on the lis website.
  • Images – Larry has the new PC faculty/staff image ready for testing; please visit the Help Desk or Main 11A this week to provide feedback. The Mac faculty/staff image and the Mac/PC lab images are nearing completion; notifications will be posted to the blog when they’re ready for testing.
  • Quarantine – Matt Hammen reviewed some of the reasons repeat quarantine messages are being generated and how to remove systems from quarantine in those cases.
  • HD Spring Projects – Brief summary of each project was provided by those involved. Topics include AdAstra inventory update, classroom technology guides, multimedia lab software and images, help desk website transition, and Research 101 updates.
  • Faculty Roll – Upgrades for Nursing and Music have been scheduled for June 8th – June 26th and faculty are being notified. Approximately two Mac upgrades and 6-8 PC upgrades have been scheduled for each day.
  • Budget – We’re in the final stretch for ’08-09; those with remaining budget needs are to contact Diane.
  • Summer – Reviewed meeting schedule, student workers, and summer registration. Summer hours begin Tuesday.
  • T-Shirts – Viewed the new Help Desk t-shirts. LIS folks who help with new student move-in will earn one.
