InfoComm 2009

Last week I attended InfoComm 2009, a conference and vendor show on the latest products in classroom Technologies. I attended classes on Extron products for classrooms, Chief mounting products for displays, the collision of Consumer and Professional electronics with an emphasis on displays, fixed speakers systems for classrooms, infrared voice lift systems for small rooms, and the testing of Video signal quality with oscilloscopes and video generators.
I visited and attended table discussions with the following vendor/dealers; Extron, Crestron, SmartBoard, Chief Mounts, Sharp Projection, MiddleAtlantic Racking, OWI, Atlas Amplifiers, and Tight Rope Media Systems Digital Signage.
Even with the economy being slow, new products were all over the show floor and the conference was very upbeat.
