LIS Work Order System Upgrade
This past weekend, LIS upgraded Track-It! which is the system we use for work orders, purchasing, inventory, and software.
As a result, when a work order is entered into the Help Desk system on your behalf you will receive an e-mail confirming your request. In addition, you will also receive an e-mail when your work order is closed.
This upgrade moves us one step closer to implementing self-service which will allow the Luther community to enter work orders for LIS, check the status of your own work order in progress, and look at your work order history.
In terms of purchasing, inventory, and software we ask that you continue to make all technology purchases for hardware and software through LIS. This allows all records to be maintained in a central location and ensures purchased hardware and software will work within the Luther environment.
