Invitation to Preus Library's 40th Anniversary Celebration

Everyone is invited to a Homecoming Celebration of the 40th Anniversary of Preus Library on Saturday, October 3rd in Hovde Lounge, 3:00 – 5:00 pm. Join us at 3:30 pm to hear David Hovde, son of former Head Librarian Oivind Hovde and librarian at Purdue University, speak briefly about his father and the building of the library. Christopher Barth, Executive Director of Library and Information Services, will follow with comments about the future of libraries. We are also featuring tours of the building, special displays and exhibits.
