Library Renovations - Update

Jay, Vern, and Jason stopped over to the library this morning to discuss plans for the renovation of the southeast area of the library. Below are a few notes from the conversation. If you’d like more details, just ask.

• Monday, November 23rd, Vern will begin work in the microfilm area.
• In preparation, yet this week the microfilm cabinets will be moved and the devices moved off the countertop; one will be hooked up and continue functioning during the transition.
• Next week Vern will cut the microfilm area countertop, move it to the south in that same area, and prep to begin framing walls for the new office.
• Monday, November 30th, Vern will begin framing walls for the new office to be located next to Ryan’s office. He anticipates work in that space will take 2-3 weeks to be completed.
• Sometime during the week of December 14th, work will begin to frame the wall and install the door in the reference area with anticipated completion of December 30th.
