Windows 7 and Norse Key Authentication

LIS has been piloting Microsoft’s newest operating system, Windows 7, which is the successor to Windows Vista. Due to the deep tie that Windows 7 would have to our Norse Key authentication system, we have put the Windows 7 project on hold as we determine options for Norse Key authentication systems first.
We currently use OpenLDAP for our Norse Key authentication system and are comparing our current system to other options to determine what infrastructure makes sense as we continue to move forward. The goal is to have a decision by early June whether to continue with our current infrastructure or to implement a new system.
