Ready, set, share! Graffiti wall goes live in library lower level.
Join the conversation.
As you come back from fall break, you may notice something new in the library. The Preus Library Graffiti Wall (i.e. a large, moveable whiteboard) has made its debut in the cafe space on the library’s lower level. This space is designed as a “place to explore and express ideas, ourselves, and our community” as part of the LIS mission. Conversation starting prompts will change periodically (the current one is “I wonder why . . . “) and everyone is invited to join in by scribbling their thoughts on post-its provided in the space (currently yellow, but more festive colors are on the way) and sticking them to the wall.
Also, on the opposite side of the graffiti wall is a space designed for conversation about the role of library and information services in the lives of people in the Luther community. Everyone is also encouraged to join this conversation.
Reaction to, thoughts about, or suggestions for the graffiti wall or library conversation space are highly encouraged. Please comment here or feel free to e-mail me (rianje01@luther.edu).
