This article is great in many

This article is great in many ways:

  • it spells out the “state of the game” right now
  • it provides the first rational plan for going forward, given the resistance of the players (publishers)

A good read for anybody interested in the incredibly stupid stuff going on between libraries and publishers regarding ebooks and the collateral issues which extend far beyond libraries and well into our “reading rooms” at home.
