New Advanced Power Searching Course with Google

Hi Everyone,

You may have heard about Power Searching with Google, an online course we ran last year with over 275,000 registrants from around the world.

We are excited to announce our follow-up course, Advanced Power Searching with Google. Advanced Power Searching with Google is a free online course aimed at deepening your understanding on solving complex research questions using Google’s advanced search techniques. You’ll encounter multiple learning formats and engage with other advanced searchers working together to solve search challenges.

Registration is now open, and the course runs from Wednesday, January 23, 2013 to Friday, February 8, 2013. Check out our blog post to learn more.

I won’t ruin anything, but let’s just say I used lis.luther.edu/research to finish solving Challenge 1… :) :)

Sounds like a good follow up to last summer’s offering. I’ve registered for the class. . curious to know if other LISers are on board, might make for some interesting on-going dialogue re: search.
