Elevating the Noise, Stemming the Leak

Work proceeds on the library elevator shaft. The workers will be jackhammering early Tuesday morning. They hope to be done with this task by 8 a.m. but can’t promise. They say that this will be noisy! Also, Thursday midmorning, they expect to be using a “vacuum truck” in the shaft. This too will be noisy. They apologize ahead of time.

Meanwhile, the leak from the ceiling on the third floor has been stopped and the problem fixed.

This includes noticing people as they approach the desk (eye contact), greeting them as they reach the desk (with a smile if not by word), and providing friendly, efficient service. Continue to let us know when you are less than satisfied with our performance. Praise, when warranted, is appreciated as well.”
