When a staff member joins the Luther community, LIS requests that their supervisor provide us with the information we need to supply technology equipment and to create an email account, Norse Key and other security.

Telephone

Digital telephones carry a department charge of $300. If you are requesting a digital phone, please provide a Datatel account number below. Digital telephones are generally only necessary to provide multi-line capabilities. Voice mail, caller ID, etc. are all available with standard analog telephones.

Workstation

There may be a departmental budget co-pay for staff laptop requests.

Enterprise Systems

Does this person require security in:

Student records, financial, human resources, alumni and donor records are in Colleague.

Web access to Colleague Financial information for budget center directors

Web access to Colleague student records for faculty.

Please list all reports this person will use.

Reporting tool for Colleague applications, used by admissions staff, coaches, and faculty that help with recruiting students, student records, financial, and human resources.

Facilities scheduling software is used by event and building space schedulers, facilities services, and dining services. All community users have web access to view activities.

Luther ID card services setup for dining services, NordicCash, points of sale for printing and postal service. Housing management, judicial system, and facility access to Regents center and Legends center. Check both boxes if person needs both.

Special applications for catering, LIS inventory, student accounts and student employment.

If this person is a replacement, security will be matched to security held by the outgoing employee. If the person is not a replacement, LIS staff will contact the supervisor to discuss specific security needs.
