Dr. Shoonie Hartwig, representative of Partners for Educational Progress (PEP), will hold an informational meeting for faculty interested in applying for a 6-week visiting scholar position at one of the Tumaini University campuses in Tanzania in June/July 2009.
PEP is a new cooperative program between five ELCA institutions–Augustana, Carthage, Gustavus Adolphus, Luther and St. Olaf–and Tumaini Lutheran University in Tanzania. The principal goal of the program is to broaden the exposure and deepen the expertise of faculty at our institutions and to build dialog throughout the church.
