GoPrint - Change Username
GoPrint tracks print usage based on the Norse Key associated with the Print Job. In order to successfully print, you will need to log onto a workstation using a Username that matches the one issued to you by Luther.
Luther-owned workstations, you are required to log in with your Norse Key, thus satisfying this requirement. All print jobs are tied to that username.
Non-Luther workstations (i.e. – personal or student computers) are not typically configured with a Username that matches your Norse Key. Because of this, GoPrint is unable to match your print job and you will be unable to print.
The following instructions will show you how to configure your computer to properly work with GoPrint. The safest method by which to set up your computer with your Norse Key in Windows Vista is to create a New User and copy the data from the old account into the new one. In Mac OS X, you may change the User’s Shortname. This reduces the chance of data loss. Please review the directions before proceeding.
