ResNet

ResNet provides every student at Luther College with a high-speed Internet connection from their dorm room free of charge. Computers or game consoles may be connected to ResNet.

Luther follows a Port-per-Pillow policy, meaning that dorm rooms will have enough ports for each occupant. The exception is in Towers (Miller & Dieseth) and College Apartments which rely on DSL Modems checked out from the Circulation Desk in the Library.

Every device connected to ResNet must be registered. During registration, the computer will be scanned to make sure it has Anti-Virus software and all necessary Operating System patches. This insures a safe environment for everyone.

ResNet is available to Students of Luther College.
