This online productivity suite includes Luther-branded versions of Gmail, Google Calendar, Google Talk, Google Documents, Google Sites, and iGoogle (Google Start Page). INTRODUCTION

LIS is implementing Google Apps for Education at Luther under the name Norse Apps. This online productivity suite includes Luther-branded versions of Gmail, Google Calendar, Google Talk, Google Documents, and iGoogle (Google Start Page). All faculty and staff are to move to Norse Apps by December 31, 2008. All students have already moved.

This LIS training covers the Calendar components of Norse Apps. The Norse Calendar will be the primary campus calendar (replacing Oracle Calendar) as of January 1, 2009.
