Supports CBORD PCarc System and Housing Management System and other auxiliary systems supporting Counselling, Bookshop, Box Office. LAMP (Linux Apache MySQL Php) programming support for the academic planning committee, campus and alumni directories.

Dave Huinker works as a Systems Administrator for LIS. His duties include managing and maintaining Windows servers, backing up Campus Data, managing our Citrix servers, and managing Sophos anti-virus. He also helps with other departmental projects as needed.

As the Telephone and Network Technician for LIS, Dennis Blake maintains all telephone systems for Luther. He provides full support for voicemail,billing and emergency databases as well as works on the installation, repair, and general maintenance of the Luther-owned telephone system. Because the telephone system is present campus-wide, Dennis works with all members of the Luther community, from faculty/staff to students. Dennis also runs all Data wiring on campus.

As a Systems Administrator for LIS, Chris Stuckman works to maintain the printer servers, the Storage Area Network, and deals with server virtualization. He also handles problems with the LDAP, or NorseKey system. He enjoys working to improve Luther programs, making them more efficient and usable.

A Luther Alum, Adam Forsyth works as the Senior Systems Administrator for LIS and manages the Network and Systems team. Adam has primary responsibility for the operation and design of the campus data network and Internet connection. He also has primary responsibility for the operation of many of our Linux Servers, manages Luther’s use of Google Apps for Education, and works to ensure network security.
