IAICU TIKI 2008 Conference – Registration Open

IAICU is hosting a conference later this month in Des Moines that is now open for registration. It would be good to have some Luther-folk attend if possible. The following is from the conference website:

What is a TIKI Conference? Well… it is a Technology, Innovation, Knowledge and Ideas Conference. Of course it is likely obvious the real purpose of another acronym is to inject a theme into the conference. I hope it is something we can have a little fun with.

Happening in Preus

Tomorrow morning, Friday Feb. 29, from 11:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. Preus Library will be the site of a "happening" produced by a group of Theatre/Dance students who are enrolled in a Performance Research class. Something will occur near the front entrance which should be pretty interesting, thought-provoking and entertaining but (we have been assured) won't create a disturbance or be overly noisy. So be on the lookout if you're passing this way.
