A new exhibit from the Fine Arts Collection has been installed in the Wigley Gallery of the Center for the Arts. The exhibit, entitled “Looking Back: the Luther College Fine Arts Festivals,” displays art works which were purchased by the college from the Fine Arts Festivals held between 1957 and 1968. The Luther College Fine Arts Collection acquired 100 pieces of art as a result of these Festival exhibitions. Approximately half of the collection is on display in the Wigley Gallery.

A Publisher 2007 training session will be held Thursday, September 20th, from 11:00am to 12:00pm in the Olin RTR. All members of LIS, whether or not you have seen or used any part of
Office 2007, are welcome to attend. No RSVP necessary, though if you would like to be added to the event in Oracle Calendar, please let me know.

Next Wednesday at 9:00, we will discuss future policies for network authentication, including how often NorseKeys should expire, how the campus statement of responsibility is incorporated into the change password process, and what sort of password histories should be kept. Specific individuals who should specifically plan on attending this meeting have already been invited … so if you’ve received a specific invitation and have an event on your Oracle calendar, we look forward to your attendance.

We’ll hold virtual meetings Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday next week. There will be no 8:45 meeting on Wednesday — we will meet at 9:00 that morning for the LIS forum on network authentication.
